Terms & Conditions: The Cambridge Club X Kopparberg

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. This promotion is provided by S&C PRODUCTIONS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 09441818, whose registered office is at Hillside Cottage, 11 Cheveley Road, Newmarket, England, CB8 8AD and Cider of Sweden Ltd t/a Kopparberg UK whose registered office is Albion Court, 5 Albion Place, Leeds, LS1 6JL, United Kingdom (“we”, “our”, “us”, the “Promoters”).

  2. Internet access is required to enter the promotion and no purchase is necessary to enter this promotion.

  3. This promotion runs from 15:00:00 GMT on 07/06/19 until 23:59:59 GMT on 10/06/19 (the “Promotion Period”). Your entry must be received within this period.

  4. The winner will be drawn on 11/06/19.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. This promotion is open to any person resident in England, Scotland or Wales who is EIGHTEEN (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who is a registered user of www.facebook.com (the “Website”). Employees of the Promoters or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).

  2. To be entered in to the promotion for The Cambridge Club prize draw, you must have bought a ticket for The Cambridge Club 2019 and follow the entry instructions outlined in the post copy via Facebook (the “Entry Requirements”):

    • You are required to like the promotional post and comment below it to let us know who you’d share the prize with.

  1. One entry is valid per person via the Website. Entries will be ineligible for this promotion if they:
    · are incomplete;
    · fail to meet the Entry Requirements;
    · are found to be using multiple accounts to enter;
    · are produced by automated or bulk means;
    · violate the rights of any other person or entity;
    · are received outside of the Promotion Period;
    · contain anything considered to be defamatory, obscene, offensive, promote violence or discrimination or otherwise are considered to be of an unsuitable nature; or
    · are reported to violate the terms governing the use of the Websites.

  2. By entering this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and that our decision is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion. If you fail to comply with these terms and conditions your entry will automatically be void.

THE PRIZES

  1. ONE (1) winner in total will be selected at random from all valid entries submitted during the Promotion Period via the Website. The winner will be awarded the prize set out in clause 16. The winner will be fairly and randomly selected via an independently verified algorithm. The winner will be notified via DM (Direct Message) or comment via the Website within ONE (1) day of the closing date (10/06/19). If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within THREE (3) days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.


  2. The prizes are non-refundable and non-changeable, there is no cash alternative, and they cannot be exchanged for any other prize; all prize elements are subject to availability.

  3. The prize winner consents to their name being made publicly available upon request.

  4. The prize winner agrees to participate in related publicity or advertising; no additional compensation will be awarded for such promotional activities.

  5. The name and county/town of the prize winner will be available for THREE (3) months after the promotion closing date.   6. The Promoters reserve the right to verify any entrant before awarding a prize and refuse to award the prize or withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

  7. The prize winner must be over the age of 18 and will need to provide proof of identification before accepting the prize and gaining entry to the festival.

WINNERS PRIZE

  1. ONE (1) winner will receive the following prize to share with friends:

  • £50 bar tab for The Cambridge Club (valid for the duration of The Cambridge Club which runs on the 16th June and is located at Haggis Farm, Grantchester Road, Cambridge, CB23 7PZ).

  • ONE (1) x case of 10 Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime 330ml cans.

  • ONE (1) x bottle of Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime Premium Gin 70cl.

  • The winner must be aged 18 or over and will be required to provide proof of age.

  • The prize excludes entry and all other tickets, food, drinks, additional attractions and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize. All costs and expenses in taking up the prize, including but not limited to, all travel, accommodation and other spending money are the winner’s own.

  • Whilst we are providing a £50 bar tab for the winner to share with their friends, we encourage responsible drinking and are not liable for any incidents that may occur at the festival.

  • If the winner can’t attend the festival/use the bar tab, no alternative prize or cash equivalent will be offered.

GENERAL

  1. If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this promotion by hacking or by cheating or committing fraud in any way, we may seek damages from that entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we will disqualify that entrant’s entry to the promotion and may ban the entrant from participating in any of our future promotions, so please enter fairly.

  2. Your personal data will be used by the Promoters and agents acting on their behalf only for the operation of this promotion. The Promoters are bound by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and all applicable laws.   3. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these Terms and Conditions.

  4. In the unlikely event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoters shall be final.

  5. Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage but will always endeavor to minimise the effect on participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

  6. Participants in this promotion agree that neither the Promoters nor any of the promotional parties will have liability for:
    a. any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions;
    b. any communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, human error or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion;
    c. any inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the Websites or any combination thereof;
    d. any damage to prizes sent to the verified winner;
    e. any non-delivery of prizes caused by the provision of wrong information by the winner, postal disputes or other causes beyond the control of either Promoter; or
    f. any system failures on the Websites.
    Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoters, their agents, and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering or taking up the prize. Nothing in this clause shall limit the liability of either Promoter in respect of; (a) death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence; or (b) liability arising out of either Promoter’s fraud.

  7. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the Website.

  8. These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England, Wales and Scotland and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales and Scotland.
